Creative Spiritual Care for Processing Gender-Based Violence in Jewish Spaces
Creative and spiritual care can be a powerful tool to process and transform what we are experiencing for greater clarity, healing, and support. Join the SRE Network, Karen Erlichman, and Rebecca Katz for a virtual vigil of collective spiritual care and creative process. Using the Jewish Studio Process, we’ll gather to witness each other and go inward—checking in with ourselves and our individual + collective bodies about what is emerging in this moment. No artistic experience is necessary; use whatever art supplies you have on hand.
Welcome to the Network with SRE Network Team
If you can't make the first session, don't worry, we have the same learnings on day 2! Get a chance to learn about the benefits of SRE Network membership, and the opportunity to ask questions about your organization’s recent member invitation or renewal. You’ll also meet the SRE team, hear about the work SRE Network is doing to advance safety, respect, and equity in Jewish spaces, and get a chance to connect with other SRE Network members. Whether you are a new member or just went through our renewal process, we’re looking forward to a chance to connect with you and say “welcome” or “welcome back!”
Practices for Equitable Hiring and Advancement with Gender Equity in Hiring Project
As we are seeing hiring rebound and opportunities for advancement rally inside our Jewish communal workplaces, we're collectively eager to renew our commitment to bringing an equity lens to these processes. Where can we begin? We'll look at changes big and small in the hiring process, from the constitution of hiring committees to mitigating bias from our processes and improving interactions with job seekers and candidates. In a job seeker's market, let's make sure that you have what you need to succeed, and find the best talent.
