Yaron and Sarah were attending an event hosted by AJC at the Capital Jewish Museum. This event was centered around interfaith dialogue and humanitarian aid. To attack people in a space dedicated to building bridges and advancing justice is both devastating and deeply unjust.

Our hearts are with the victims’ families, loved ones, colleagues, and all those grieving this unimaginable loss. We also hold all those across the Jewish professional community in our thoughts as we process the trauma of this violent act.

At SRE Network, we will not allow violence or hate to dim our collective light or our pursuit of a more equitable, inclusive, and safe Jewish communal landscape.

We encourage our community to take time today to mourn, to check in with one another, and to tend to your mental well-being. We are here. We are holding you close. And together, we will continue to build toward the Jewish future we all deserve.
