Community of Practice

For HR, Culture, & Operations Professionals

We are excited to pilot a Community of Practice (CoP) for SRE Network Champions in HR, operations, and/or culture roles at their organizations. This is a unique opportunity to build a collaborative network of peers across the Jewish nonprofit sector dedicated to advancing safety, respect, and equity in the workplace. 

In this interactive, peer-driven community, we will explore how to advance gender equity and build healthy workplaces through our human resources, culture-building, and operations work. During our monthly CoP sessions, you will have the opportunity to share practices, navigate workplace challenges, and learn from experts. Through shared wisdom and collective experience, you will be supported by a powerful community of champions who are on this journey together.

Over the Course of 6 Months, You Will:

  • Build meaningful relationships with a supportive network of organizational changemakers in similar roles from across the country.
  • Participate in monthly sessions featuring interactive discussions, peer-led presentations, experts, and more.
  • Gain support in the ideation and implementation of your safety, respect, and equity efforts as you learn from others and navigate the complexities of putting this work into practice. 
  • Discuss a range of topics such as: creating healthy workplaces; adopting and implementing organizational standards; operationalizing safety, respect, and equity; advancing pay equity, policy development and communication; and fostering psychological safety.
  • Explore how to leverage HR, culture, and operations practices as tools for change.

Audience

This invite-only pilot cohort is for SRE Network Champions who serve in HR/Culture/Talent & Operations roles and/or are responsible for their organization's HR, culture, or operations work.

Commitment

Participants commit to attending six monthly, one-hour virtual sessions from January to June, with a possible in-person gathering in June.

  • Tuesday, January 28 at 2 pm ET
  • Tuesday, February, 25 at 2 pm ET
  • Tuesday, March 25 at 2 pm ET
  • Tuesday, April 29 at 2 pm ET
  • Tuesday, May 27 at 2 pm ET
  • June TBD (Either in-person on Tuesday, June 10 at SRE's Convening or virtually on Tuesday, June 24)
