Tuesday, November 12, 2024 – This past week has been so hard, both as individual citizens and as Jewish leaders. In a week marked by divisive election results and disturbing antisemitic violence abroad, it’s hard to find words to move forward. All I can offer is that I’ve found comfort in reminding myself what I know remains true: our imperative to care for one another has never been greater.

Our commitment at SRE Network to prioritizing safety, respect, and equity across the Jewish nonprofit sector—and beyond—remains unwavering. These values will continue to guide us forward, no matter the obstacles ahead. And there will be many.

The work we are doing together is laying the foundation for and advancing a more just, compassionate future, and I am proud to be a part of this journey alongside all of SRE’s members.

Since Sunday, I have been attending JFNA’s GA, alongside my SRE colleagues Shaina Wasserman and Andrea Deck. We are grateful to be surrounded by thousands of Jewish professionals and lay leaders, learning with and from one another, moving forward with grace and conviction.

Wishing you the hope, strength, and renewal we need to continue this work. May we find comfort and inspiration in our collective commitment to our missions and to one another.
