Session information: In early June, over 300 people came together for two days of meaningful engagement at the SRE Network Convening - Return to Basics. In order to effectively ‘return to basics’ and root ourselves and our work in safety, respect, and equity, we must continue to learn and consider how to put these ideas into action. We reflected on questions such as:

• What are some of the key takeaways from the Convening?
• Who do we need to engage with in order to create change?
• Where do we even start?

All SRE Network members and Convening attendees were invited to participate in a reflection and learning session where we unpacked these questions and more.

This session was led by Dr. Sara Shapiro-Plevan, CEO of Gender Equity in Hiring in the Jewish Community Project. We held space for reflection and for the practical hands-on application of what we learned. We also viewed several short clips from the Convening.
