Jewish Belonging Summit

May 7-8, 2025

Join Jewish professionals from across North America for an immersive summit designed to strengthen our efforts to cultivate a culture of belonging for all Jews and our loved ones through skill-building, learning, and networking.

Hosted by Jewish Federations’ Center for Jewish Belonging in partnership with SRE Network, this summit will bring participants together after JPro25 to:

Explore the intersection of racial, religious, gender, faith, ability, and sexual identities within the Jewish communal landscape;
Discover how to create spaces that affirm and celebrate the social and cultural diversity of Jewish life;
Learn practical skills to advance justice and equity and create cultures of belonging for all Jews and our loved ones;
Build lasting relationships with peers at affinity-based gatherings and larger group receptions.

Note: This summit is in lieu of SRE Network's Annual Convening this year, and will be SRE's only large, in-person gathering for its members in 2025.

- A block of rooms has been reserved at this hotel. This is the same hotel–and same room block–that JPro25 is using. Upon registration, you will receive a link to book your room at a discounted rate.

Practitioners, leaders, organizations, and funders working toward cultivating belonging for American Jewish life for all Jews and our loved ones.

Cost

$180 per person

This fee is heavily subsidized by SRE and JFNA. The cost includes kosher meals, snacks, and materials. If the registration fee poses a financial challenge, please contact us to receive a reduced rate at belonging@jewishfederations.org. Our correspondence will be confidential. We are deeply committed to ensuring that our convening remains accessible.

Is this Summit being held instead of SRE's Annual Convening?

Is this event separate from JPro25?

Yes, the Jewish Belonging Summit is an entirely separate event from JPro25. We are coordinating with the schedule and location of JPro25 because our communities overlap, and we'd rather the participants not have to make multiple trips!

Since this is a separate event, you need to register separately from JPro25. Financial assistance is available if the registration fee poses a burden.

How should I book my hotel?

A discounted room block at the Hilton Baltimore Inner Harbor is available upon registration for the Jewish Belonging Summit.

This is the same room block as the one being offered through JPro25, so you can also book your room when registering for JPro25–just make sure it includes the night of Wednesday, May 7.
