10-11 am PT/1-2 pm ET
Making our workplaces and communal spaces more equitable requires an intersectional multi-dimensional approach. We know that racism, sexism, ableism, homophobia, transphobia, and other forms of inequity and discrimination are inextricably linked.
Join SRE Network and a panel of leading changemakers and thought leaders to deepen your understanding of how gender, race, sexuality, ability, and other marginalized identities intersect in experiences of harm. Dr. Deitra Reiser, Chai Feldblum, and Rabbi Micah Buck-Yael will explore how to integrate an intersectional approach into our equity work and ensure this work is done using explicit equity lenses for racial, gender, accessibility, gender identity, and sexuality equity. We’ll share practical strategies for navigating internal challenges and complexities of this work.
This session will be recorded. If you have any questions, please contact info@srenetwork.org.

She currently serves as Vice Chair of the AbilityOne Commission, a federal agency devoted to the employment of people with significant disabilities.
Deitra Reiser, Ph.D. (she/her) is the founder and principal of Transform for Equity. She focuses on creating space for the exploration of race and racism. In addition to her experience as an educator and facilitator, Dr. Reiser has worked with numerous local and national organizations as a speaker, coach, workshop facilitator, strategic thought partner, and change agent on antiracism, race in the United States, and belonging.
Rabbi Micah Buck-Yael (he/they) is Keshet’s Director of Education & Training, where he supports organizations across the spectrum of Jewish life to build communities in which LGBTQ+ Jews and our families can thrive.
